Generation 2.6: Baby Time and Birthdays

Hi there readers! We are back with another installment of the ISBI challenge. This family has been driving me nuts lately, they seem to be getting dumber by the second… on that note, here we go. 

Henley wakes up in the middle of the night, and I got really excited thinking that it baby time… but no, she just wanted to go play on the computer…

Not long after Ivan wakes up due to hunger and unfortunately the only thing in the fridge are the disgusting waffles his wife made. This is why he should be the only one cooking. 

But somehow Valerie managed to find some salad. Not really sure why Ivan would pick burnt waffles over salad. But food aside this is an adorable moment, Mom and son reuniting. 

I am completely shocked that Henley is taking care of her son of free will, usually she tries to avoid him…

Though its not very long before she plops him on the ground and then walks away, to play on the computer of course. Meanwhile Patch is intrigued by this tiny human. 

The kitties were getting a little lonely but some grooming boosts their social right back up. 

Well at least Shaelyn and Henley are in the same room together, they hardly interact otherwise…

and here is poor little Danny being ignored… because Ivan isn’t home to care for him. 

Thankfully Auntie Shaelyn comes to the rescue and little Danny is fed.

Finally Ivan comes home and feeds Danny again to make sure he is full

And then makes some delicious edible food for his family instead of the disgusting gunk his wife made. 

Not long after dinner its baby time for real! Sorry but no hospital for you girl, welcome to legacy life. 

She attempted to go to the hospital and I cancelled the interaction. Hence the outerwear, but welcome to the family a new baby girl!

Jayda Covington, shes insane and loves the outdoors. 

And Henley starts with the neglect early on… 

Thankfully Ivan is a good parent and tries to lead by example. 

And she catches on!

And another kitty shot. Their social seems to get low really easily lately

Im going to lock Henley out of the kitchen… because she is going to burn the house down one day. So glad Shaelyn and Ivan know the Ice Blast spell which quickly remedies the situation.

Shaelyn takes better care of this baby than Henley does…

While Ivan is at work, Henley decides to just get Danny’s birthday out of the way. 

wooo! check out that jaw… definitely takes after his father. 

I turned the dining room into a nursery/kids room. giving Danny a bed and a desk and leaving both cribs in the nursery incase of multiples in the future. 

Danny heads right for the bird cage, he loves playing with Dodo and cleans his cage afterward. What a good little boy. 

Ivan comes home and finds his daughter in desperate need of attention, he feeds her changes her diaper and gives her some love. 

Then takes care of his own needs.

Before the family knows it, its Jayda’s birthday

Henley takes Jayda to the cake, even though she takes care of her least of all

Ivan is excited to see his little girl grow. 

she is a little copy of Henley, absolutely adorable. 

Grimmy takes no time in sniffing about at her, and she loves it.

Ivan takes a little time to start her potty training before bed. Look at her cute little potty chair!

This has been a pretty eventful chapter, and hopefully not too boring.

Generation 2.3: Grim Tidings

Hey there readers! Its been a while. I had to take a break, because I am a bit of a control freak and this legacy tries my patience. But I am back, though unfortunately I lost a few pics  that I had saved. So there is a bit of a gap. I apologize!!! But lets begins 🙂

And here we have the lovely couple!! Henley and Ivan, about to enjoy a little woohoo!

And here is that gap I was talking about… Henley had the baby, it belongs to Dante Morganthe. His name is Danny, I forgot to write down his traits but I will update that next time.

We still have a house flooded with animals… which prevents me from trying for baby with Ivan and Henley -__-

And yup the cats vomited… and the dog is destroying a chair… Lovely.

Ivan wakes up at a weird hour and craves some goopy carbonara. Thankfully he is able to cook for the family and call them all to meal… otherwise I’m pretty sure they would starve.

As the family eats Mushi ages up! He’s cute and looks like Grimalkin, but I decided to put him up for adoption.

And even though Danny isn’t biologically his, Ivan always jumps in to care for him… even tho Grampa Benjamin wants to do it…

Shaelyn: Gotta get these dishes to the sink… But wait what if thats what the sink wants me to do? Im on to your plan to take all our plates!!! Devious sink!

Henley beat Ivan to the baby this time. I wish he would just focus on his skills!!!

Our founder came to visit!!! And to read…

Henley is clearly not cut out to be a mother… She gets really angry when she has to take care of him. That kid is gonna get neglected

Karma for ignoring her kid caused Henley to choke on this sandwich.  THATS WHAT YOU GET!

Even though Benjamin loves caring for the baby, people still like to boo him 😦

I understand the maid, but really Shaelyn?!?

At least everyone is helping out, despite the complaint bubbles.

Suddenly I was pulled to this screen… I hadn’t even noticed Benjamin go to work 😦

He met death in a respectful and welcoming fashion. Shaking hands with him, ready to see his beloved in the afterlife.

This of course breaks everyone’s heart… and I now have to deal with grieving sims for days.

On this sad note I decided to end the chapter. I will dive in game and collect more pictures soon! Thank you for all the support that encouraged me to start updating on here again.

Generation 1.11: No Moar Babiez

Hey everyone and welcome back to my ISBI challenge. Before we begin I would like to fill everyone in on a decision I have made. I’ve decided that i really want the next heir to be a witch, since I love the supernaturals expansion, and since my founder was female, the heir will be male. So Ivan will be next in line. This is the only time that I will be choosing the heir. the rest of the time it will be up to you. On that note, lets begin another chapter! Daddy and Mason bonding time is always a good place to start.  Valerie: Time to learn to walk Mason, you’re getting too big to carry everywhere! Benjamin: Feeling the burn, good thing we bought this new treadmill.   I used a little of the money they earned to buy him a treadmill, hoping he would work out more.  Grimmy absolutely loves being brushed. And here we see Shaelyn teaching Ivan to do the duck face early in life. But its so adorable! Cute kitty… howling at the full moon… <.< Thankfully time flies quickly and Mason is soon blowing out his candles and trading diapers for tighty whities.  woo… that is quite a profile. Benjamin’s nose is quite obvious. Mason: what’d you say about me? Me: nothing. lol Valerie picks up little Ivan and brings him to his cake next. Her last little one is growing up.  He also inherited his fathers dark hair, thankfully! I was tired of all those strawberry blonde kids.  Here’s a close up of Mason. He’s a cute kid.  And here is the babeh! Ivan, so cute! They decided to keep the turtle that Grimmy caught.  Zoey: I wonder what my hair looks like today? Zoey is always thinking about herself…

They all crowded around because Ivan was practically screaming… only Marcus was brave enough to pick him up. 

Yay the turtle wont die! Valerie keeps forgetting to feed him…

OMG! Had to document this. No one other than Valerie ever cleans… I was shocked. Good for you Benjamin, you’ve succeeded in making me a little less annoyed at you.

Generation 1.10: Are we done having kids now?

Heyyyy Everyone!! Welcome back to the 10th installment of my ISBI Legacy. So far this generation has been kinda slow. No deaths, thankfully! And we haven’t hit the negatives just yet haha… So lets begin!

As the party ended, Marcus ran off to prom, where he took a cute photo and as you can see won Prom King, he even came away with a romantic interest, (who’s name I can’t remember). So all in all it was a good night for him.

Shaelyn wanted to wait for her big brother to get home so that she could ask him to read her a bedtime story, like she doesn’t ask a billion times a night, but Valerie put her foot down and told her to go to bed.

Once the Kiddies were in bed, Valerie announced her pregnancy to Benjamin, like he hadn’t already noticed…, though knowing him he probably hadn’t.

Valerie: We will need more blocks, since there are going to be more babies!

As soon as Marcus got home, Shaelyn got out of bed, followed her brother into the bathroom, chatted a bit and then asked him for a bedtime story… (im kinda getting sick of her asking honestly)

Meanwhile Zoey is outside in the snow pillowfighting with Buddy, looking like a crazy person to everyone else.

Once Shaelyn left the room, Marcus decided to bond with Grimalkin a little bit, ignoring the the stinky litter box and puddle of urine on the floor…

Looks like the cute kitty has finally figured out that Benjamin is a witch lol.

The work is never done for the Founder of a legacy

And its time to go to the hospital… on your bike, because you’re husband is too busy freaking out to think rationally.

And here we have Mason!! our second boy! He is Insane and friendly, and his favorites are island life music, cookies, and green.

Sadly this baby isn’t a witch, so far only Shaelyn took after her dad in that aspect.

Valerie: Mommy loves you, yes she does. drink up and grow big and strong!

Wow Benjamin actually taking care of his fourth child! Seems since Shaelyn was born he decided he wants to be involved.

I bought a kitty condo for Grimmy!!!! (Grimalkin is too long to type all the time)

Time to make baby #5!!!

Had to add on a bathroom for the kids so that there isn’t a traffic jam when everyone has to pee.

Shaelyn: gotta get home before curfew!

Shae got home in time just for Zoey’s Birthday!!!

Here’s a close up after I fixed her hair. She really did get her father’s nose.

Her favorite color is orange if you couldn’t tell!

Autonomous working out from Benny! too bad he doesn’t actually do it enough to help. His team has lost every game

Zoey received a trophy from ballet. so I added it to the shelf. For some reason she loves to stare at it…

I loved this sketch that Valerie was working on!!!!! She is clearly pregnant again even though she hasn’t popped yet, since she is drawing babies.

Then she popped a little while later!

Zoey: then the Prince and Princess fell in love and lived happily ever after!

This was such a cute shot.

Valerie is finally able to paint portraits so I had her start with one of Grimmy!

Time flew by really fast and Mason aged up! Finally a baby with Benjamins hair color!!

He is definitely gonna take after daddy!!!

Valerie: Baby is on the way!!! Baby is coming!!!

She decided to be a trooper and stick it out at home for this one.

Another boy!!! Ivan Covington! Insane and Hydrophobic. Loves indie music, cheesesteak and the color white.

Valerie completed three wishes with that birth earning her a ton of lifetime happiness points so I got her a motive mobile and changed it to her favorite color. I think I will keep this in the family and change the color depending on the heir.

a few days later when all the excitement has died down, Valerie decides that it is time to start teaching mason to talk.

Valerie: Say constellation Mason, constellation.

Mason: pwetty staaaaahs.

Valerie: Close enough…

I love that Benjamin has finally decided to spend some time with his witchy daughter!!!

Grimmy aged up!! He’s way bigger than I thought he’d be and I bought him a wall dancer as a present!!

Shaelyn also aged up that night!!! not cross-eyed.. I was shocked!

She turned out gorgeous!! Looks just like her mom, but with her dad’s baby blues.

With all this eventfulness, I think its a good place to stop for the day! Thankfully this chapter there were no accidents or anything. Lots of aging and babies!!!!

Generation 1.8: Seriously?!? Every day is a Birthday

welcome back and hope you are all enjoying the story so far. Its been a little slow and uneventful but things are bound to pick up! So lets go. 

Right off the bat, its time for baby number three to make its way into the world

Valerie: but first the bed must be made. We cannot afford to be slobs. 

Soon  our house will be filled the pitter patter of more small feet, and I will be one more child closer to my goal. 

Everyone meet Shaelyn Covington, she was born with the Athletic trait locked in and the family trait of insanity was the second. (I forgot to write down her favorites…)

once the trials of labor were over Valerie hurried to skill her middle child, working on talking. 

Valerie: say sleepy Zoey, sleepy.

Zoey: Sweepeee momma. 

Benjamin decided to interrupt the talk session and put his daughter to bed. 

Only to stop and decide to let Valerie do it instead… Sims are so weird sometimes. 

there is a time lapse here, as nothing happened for the rest of the night…

Time flies by fast and Valerie decides to throw a party for all of her children. 

Maybe Benjamin should worry about some of the people his wife invites to the house…

First up is Zoey, Mommy brings her to the cake since daddy is once again working. 

Zoey: I farted Sparkles!!!! and got daddy’s nose! Oh my…

ME: Zoey!!! seriously you had to have the first accident as I try to give you your makeover..

Zoey: Well what do you expect people were in my way!

Of course she decided to be difficult and blink as I took the picture… But she has daddy’s eyes and nose. 

Next came baby Shaelyn!!!

Awww she’s cute, looks like she also got mommy’s hair and nose and daddy’s eyes. 

and last but not least, Marcus is up

Marcus: I wish I could just go to bed, but is that a good enough wish…

Generation 1.7: Chores, Birthdays and HerpaDerp

HEYYYYY And We are back!  LAst we heard Valerie had be flashfrozen by her “loving” husband and Marcus had aged up into a child. Whats coming next?

Good morning Zoey! Mommy loves you! 

Aww bonding moment between our founder and one of the possible heirs. 

Once her baby is taken care of Valerie moves on to some house maintenance… and a few electrical shocks from the dishwasher…

Valerie: You made me do that on purpose!

ME: I did not! well maybe I did but the house needed repairs, and I didn’t want you to waste money…

Marcus: Stupid homework *grumble, grumble* I just wanna go to bed. 

Sorry Marcus but I lose points if you do bad in school. 

Spaghetti will make everyone happy, and full!!! 

So much for family dinner time… Benjamin apparently decided to ignore his family… 

Benjamin: See Im making up for it by reading my son a skill book! Now see here Marcus this is a wrench. You use these to become handy.

D’awwwwwww!

Its nice of Benjamin to take care of the kids so that Valerie can properly eat breakfast. 

Valerie: Im gonna reward my hubby with a little makeout…

Shortly after Valerie is pulled to the crib for Zoey’s Sparkle explosion! DERPPPPP cross-eyed again

Here is the little one after her makeover, she has the same coloring as her brother but appears to have inherited her dad’s nose and mouth. 

I bet she is gonna be daddy’s little princess! 

Here’s some cute little children spam! Zoey is singing to Buddy, and Marcus is going for a joyride! *sigh, i love generations*

Meanwhile in the middle of Valerie’s extra creative painting session, she popped! Baby #3, WOOO!

God I hope not Zoey!!

Generation 1.6: Birthday Boy

Welcome back! where we last left off the newest member of the Covington Crowd had been welcomed into the world, Zoey Covington. Thats two kids down, Valerie wants 5… so its gonna be a wild time haha. 

Benjamin: Man am I hungry, gotta feed the kid first though. 

Its lovely to see Benny taking care his son. 

Shortly after the nom noms, Marcus decides to do the sparkle dance!!! 

Marcus: Gahhhh, they are choking me. 

and here he is!!! He’s such a little hottie already! And he rolled the insane trait… 

Marcus: Mom I can’t hear you over the screaming baby you insist I share a room with!!!

Thankfully Benjamin comes in and scoops his youngest out the crib to stop her crying. 

Valerie: The voices… The voices… 

And the insane trait makes an appearance again…

Marcus stands over his sisters crib and wishes that he could bake her into a pie and stop her constant crying.

unfortunately I won’t allow him to do that so he will have to content himself with presiding over the royal court

Benjamin has decided to be a little more hands on at this point, sharing secrets with his son, and making sure to feed his tiny daughter!

All the while Valerie is repairing some stuff around the house, most recently the shower when she hears Benjamin call her into the living room…

Only to be the target of his Ice Blast spell… how lovely…

Generation 1.5: Chugging Along

Hey everyone! welcome back to my ISBI challenge. I know its been a little while since I posted. Crazy busy with work and attempting to have a social life haha. But anyway lets dive right in! 

Since Valerie no longer has to go to work, she can spend time teaching her adorable toddler the important skills in life, like not making a mess in his diaper!

MOAR BABIEZ!!! 

I don’t know what it is about bathrooms in my legacies but the sims love to spend time in here… 

YAY for even more autonomous skilling! Work that body Benny!!!! I love when my sims do this stuff on their own. Though not controlling him as been driving me mildly insane sometimes haha
